Time for a new weekly challenge...

Lets see if you can master this one - you must complete a layout in 30 minutes!  Here is a sample for you.

If you want to make it easy on yourself we highly recommend the Basic Grey range - the papers with matching stickers, chipboard rubons and letters make it so super easy to get a page done in under 30 minutes.  In the sample above, Basic Grey's Sugar Rush papers and stickers were used make it quick to finish this page.  Remember every page does not need to be a master piece - its the memories and photos that we want to preserve.

I have used the cover of a local directory for my inspiration.  Look for ideas on logos, magazine ads, posters, book, CD and DVD covers.  What about even a game cover?  Show us what you can do...

Happy New Year & 1st Challenge

Happy New Year!  Welcome to a new decade!

RTlicious wnat to provide you with a new challenge each week.  Have you seen the 52 Challanges book from Creating Keepsakes???  The first edition was based on scrapbooker Elsie Falnnagan.  There is now another edition called 52 More Challnges and it is awesome!  It starts one of my fave scrapbookers - Elizabeth Kartchener. 

These books are such good guides to push any scrapbooker to think outside the sqaure each and every week.  We will pick a challenge from these books each week and privide you with an example of our own.  You challenge is to show us your version.  Just log onto http://www.rtlicious.ning.com/, become a member if you are not already, and upload your challenge.  We will announce a winner at the end of each working week ie. Friday.  So are you up for tha challenge?

WEEK 1:  Be inspired by fashion!

In the layout above I (Tenaha) used one of my daughters tshirts to create my layout.  It was so easy and fun to use the shirt as a creative base.  What can you do?  Upload your images to the ning website before 5PM Friday 8th January and we will announce a winner.  Good luck!
